Online Courses on Supply Chain
Certified Professional Courses in
Global Health Procurement and Supply Chain
Over the last ten years there have been massive changes in the global marketplace for pharmaceuticals and in the funding levels available for major health programs. The net result has been the emergence of a much greater need for specific skill sets, such as Procurement and Supply Chain Management (PSM). The very limited availability for professional PSM skill development programs which address public sector needs and the limited access (largely because of affordability) of such programs has led to the need for courses which can provide a strong link with Public Health, Healthcare Management, and PSM.
In order to address this identified need and broaden the engagements in capacity building, Empower developed online courses covering all these domains,
in collaboration with Kent State University, Ohio.
These courses prepare participants who are working or aspire to work in the field of PSM of public health commodities and have been designed by former UN, WHO and Global Fund executives.
