Empower School of Health Visits Federal Ministry of Health, Sudan
Dr. Lakhwinder P Singh, Dean, Empower School of Health (ESH) visited Sudan last week to meet the officials of National Medical Supplies Fund (NMSF), Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH), Sudan. The purpose of the visit was to attend the inauguration of Abdel-Hamid Ibrahim Training Centre (AITC), built by NMSF and dedicated to human resource development and capacity building of the employees. A series of meetings were held with the officials of NMSF, FMoH during which an MoU was signed between NMSF and ESH to co-develop joint capacity building programs and conduct various trainings and workshops aimed at staff development.
Dr. Singh also met with the country leadership of Sudanese Red Crescent Society to discuss about future areas of collaboration with ESH.
