The Graduation Ceremony on 29th August 2025 was a global celebration of learning and achievement, with 90+ graduates from over 30 countries coming together in Geneva and online. From inspiring speeches to alumni reflections, engaging activities, and networking opportunities, the evening showcased the power of education to unite and empower future leaders in global health.
This milestone honored the resilience, hard work, and achievements of our graduates while reflecting Empower’s mission to build capacity in public health, supply chain, and digital health through high-quality, flexible, and globally recognized learning programmes.
The most awaited moment of the evening—the conferring of certificates—honored the dedication, hard work, and perseverance of every graduate. Each certificate symbolized not just academic achievement, but also a commitment to advancing public health and making a difference in communities worldwide.
Special recognition was given to outstanding graduates for their academic excellence and leadership potential. These awards highlighted the exceptional talent within the cohort and served as an inspiration for peers to continue striving for excellence.
The ceremony featured impactful addresses by distinguished speakers. Dr. Ebru Canan-Sokullu (Associate Director, CIFAL Global Network), Ambassador David Fernández Puyana (Ambassador and Permanent Observer, UPEACE and UNESCO), and Prof. Paul Lalvani (Founder and Executive Director, Empower School of Health) shared reflections on achievements, future challenges in public health, and the importance of adaptability and leadership. Faculty members and alumni added heartfelt messages, motivating graduates to pursue lifelong learning and global citizenship.
