Milestone Achieved in Vaccine Sovereignty: North Africa RCCN Workshop Concludes Successfully!

Empower School of Health proudly co-organized the first African Workshop on Vaccine Manufacturing Essentials with the Institut Pasteur du Maroc and the Government of Morocco, bringing together a dynamic cohort of scientists, engineers, and health leaders from across Africa. Held over four transformative days, this workshop combined hands-on training, peer learning, and real-world applications in vaccine bioproduction — from upstream processing to regulatory compliance. The closing ceremony marked a key step forward in Africa’s journey toward health sovereignty, recognizing the dedication of participants and the power of partnerships with Sartorius | Bioprocess Solutions, AMCI, and others in building local, sustainable vaccine manufacturing capacity.
